Farewell to Kim Archuletta, L.C.S.W.
It is with sadness that the Division of
Community Services bids farewell to Kim Archuletta, L.C.S. W. Kim
accepted a position as Clinical Director for Serenity House in
Escondido. Kim wrapped up her duties as Director of Options for
Recovery and Perinatal Care Outreach Program in January. Kathie
Morgan, L.C.S.W. and Frances Fant have assumed managerial duties for
Options for Recovery and Perinatal Care Outreach respectively.
Kim began her association with UCSD in 1989 as a Senior Community
Health Program Representative. She joined Options for Recovery at
its inception, participating in its design and implementation.
Kim started out as an East County case manager and provided home visits
to a caseload of 30 women.

gone on to leadership positions in the community. Her clients
have also been successful in recovering from addiction, delivering
healthy drug free infants, and taking the responsibility for parenting
them.

Community Services including the Perinatal Care Outreach Program,
Cal-Learn, and San Diego BRIGHT Families. Kim became the Director
of Options for Recovery in 1995. While at UCSD she obtained her
license as a clinical Social Worker (LCSW), became a board member of
the California Women's Commission of Alcohol and Drug Dependencies as
well as an active member of the March of Dimes, San Diego Chapter
