The faculty in the Division of Obstetrics and
Gynecology provides routine Obstetric care for pregnant women and
Gynecologic care for women of all ages. The faculty also teaches
gynecology to medical students and residents, and participates in
scholarly activities to advance knowledge in the area of obstetrics and
gynecology and thereby improve scientific knowledge regarding women's
health.
UCSD's Reproductive Medicine's division is proud to announce a major, new
opportunity for the career development of junior faculty in the area of
reproductive medicine. In September, 1999 the multidisciplinary Reproductive Sciences
Research Career Development Center was established within the
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
