Medical
Student: Our faculty teaches in the ERM course for first
year Medical Students and provides special training to 3rd and 4th year
Medical Students which is described under "Clerkship" below.
Medical Students may also enroll in any of the Courses offered by the
Department as an elective and these are listed under
"Courses" above.
Graduate
Student: Over the past few years, graduate students have
worked under the supervision of many PhD and MD faculty in the
Department of Reproductive Medicine. Most graduate students are
enrolled in the Biomedical
Sciences or Neurosciences
Programs.
Clerkship:
Director is Dr. Pam Deak. Pam Oliver (543-2384) is Coordinator. The Clerkship is a
School of Medicine Program which is designed to provide an Introduction
to Obstetrics & Gynecology for 3rd year Medical Students and
provide elective training for 4th year Medical Students. The program is
divided into 6 week blocks throughout the year. Education and training
is provide through a series of lectures. In addition, the students
rotate through several clinics including OB/GYN, Oncology, and
Ambulatory Care. Training is provided at UCSD facilities, Mercy
Hospital, and the Balboa Naval Hospital.
